As many may of you have heard, President Obama signed into law the 2010 health care reform act. This will guarantee all Americans will have the opportunity to be covered under a health plan. While many of these changes wont take effect till 2014. There are changes that will happen immediately, they are Health insurance law changes:

• Subsidies begin for small businesses to provide coverage to employees.
• Insurance companies barred from denying coverage to children

With pre-existing illness. Adults are NOT covered for pre-ex on individual plans until 2014. Children permitted to stay on their parents’ insurance policies until their 26th birthday.
